EVs are in high demand – install an EV charging station at your commercial facility or multi-unit residential dwelling and reap the many benefits.

At this time, Hawaii Energy is waiting for state funding to be released for the EV Charging Station Rebate program. Until funding is available, please hold on submitting your applications during this time. When funding is released, Hawaii Energy will provide updates and any new program information on this page. Eligibility may change from previous programs, so please check back here or subscribe to our newsletter for the most current information

So far, these rebates have helped make 122 charging stations across the state a reality, including Level II stations at two affordable housing developments.

Funding for this special rebate offer is appropriated by the Hawaii State Legislature and is administered by Hawaii Energy under the direction of the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission. This rebate is therefore subject to different terms and conditions than other Hawaii Energy rebates, and we encourage you to read through the eligibility requirements and application thoroughly before applying.
